Welcome to Our Kitchen

Hi there — and welcome to the From Scratch Catering blog! We’re so glad you’re here.

This business started the way so many good things do: with our mama. She’s the heartbeat behind it all — the one who taught us how to cook, host, hustle, and love people well through food. She learned it from her mom, and now she’s passed it down to us. From her kitchen came countless recipes, memories, and eventually, a family business built on those same values.

These days, it’s a full-on family affair. A bunch of sisters have jumped in to help grow what our parents started — bringing our own strengths, stories, and laughter into the mix. And while our one and only brother may not be in the kitchen with us, he still deserves an honorable mention (because we couldn’t possibly leave him out).

We each have our hands in different parts of the process, but at the core of it all is the same spirit it began with: food made from scratch, served with so much love.

This blog is a space for sharing a little more of that with you. We’ll post behind-the-scenes moments, favorite dishes, stories from the weddings and events we get to be part of, and a few personal peeks into the chaos and joy of running a family business.
